Well...

we got the computer yesterday. I spent three hours re-adding software and drivers &etc. Three hours... and I still have more to do. I think I got the majority of it done last night. As I was copying my lone backup directory from a floppy disk, I finally felt annoyed at losing all my old stuff. Live and learn, I guess.

Another life lesson I learned, since the computer has been in the shop, is that I was spending way too much time avoiding real life.
